We hunt and harvest wild-grown herbs for personal use and to sell in our online store. Yellowroot, medicinal herb seeds, heirloom corn seeds, and other farm products are available with free shipping on all orders.

Everything we sell is hand-picked for quality.

We sell quality herbs that are handled with caring hands. We tend to our herb patches, harvest them at the perfect stage, and prepare the leaves, stems, roots, flowers, and seeds ourselves to ensure that our customers get the most potent medicines possible.

As we prepare herbs for shipping, we say a prayer thanking God for giving us the gift of medicinal plants.We ask Jesus, our Great Physician, to heal everyone that uses them.

Supply and demand

Some herbs grow better one year and others the next year. This is the way nature works.

Herbal supplies and selection varies from season to season, although we try to keep yellowroot, seeds, and tea blend year round. We sell from our personal stocks and sometimes run out of things.

Special orders

If you need something that grows in the southern Appalachian Mountains, then contact us with requests. We will fill special orders if possible. Some things we have access to include Joe Pye Weed, Goldenrod, Broadleaf Plantain, Wild Lettuce, Wild Blackberry, White Oak Bark, Black Walnut, and Red Clover.

Located in Blairsville, Georgia, Tony and I sell wild herbs and handcrafted products - all dried, produced and packaged on our family farm in the North Georgia Mountains. Inventory changes with the seasons depending on what is available and may also vary from year to year. Celebrating our Appalachian heritage where sustainable farming is a way of life, we appreciate our customers and promise to provide the best service, the highest quality merchandise, a secure shopping experience, and fair prices.

Payne Mountain Farms is a real place, located in the North Georgia Mountains between Blue Ridge and Blairsville, Georgia. We are not open to the public.

The farm is a real working farm, not a country estate or "hobby". There is always work to do, so we are never bored. Thank God for healthy food, clean water, beautiful scenery, and all the other blessings that He provides. God is good!

Our family has many interests which are featured in my writing and photography.

I write a lot about medicinal herbs, how to use them to heal our minds, bodies, and spirits. I cover the history of herbs, where to find them, how to grow them, when to harvest them, tips for drying them, and storing them for winter use.
